Refund Policy
30-day money-back guarantee on every paid edition. If you are not satisfied for any reason within 30 days of purchase, you may request a full refund — no questions asked.
What is covered
The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to every paid edition we sell:
- GDPR Checklist — Solo ($49), SMB ($129), Pro & Data Protection Officer ($299), and the optional Agency add-on ($199)
- SMB Security Assessment — Solo ($49), SMB ($99), Pro Consultant ($299)
- PSIRT Response — Solo ($49), SMB ($99), Enterprise ($299), and the Enterprise Consultant Licence
- First 4 Hours Incident Response — Solo ($49), Commander ($99), PSIRT CRA-Ready ($199)
- GDPR Breach Response — Solo ($49), SMB ($99), Enterprise ($199)
- TrustReady — Solo ($49), SMB ($99), Pro ($199)
Refunds are processed without questions asked within the 30-day window. The guarantee applies regardless of:
- How much of the edition you have used
- Whether you have downloaded the accompanying toolkits, templates, slide decks, or worksheets
- The reason for your dissatisfaction
You do not need to explain why you are requesting a refund. The purpose of this policy is to remove any risk in trying a paid edition.
How to request a refund
- Send an email to support@sylvanassurance.com
- Include your order reference (provided in your purchase-confirmation email from Lemon Squeezy)
- Include the email address used at purchase
A response confirming the refund request is typically sent within 2 business days. The refund itself, once approved, is processed by Lemon Squeezy and typically appears in your account within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
You do not need to return or delete the downloadable materials to receive a refund, although the licence to use them ends at the point of refund (see Terms of Use).
After the 30-day window
After 30 days from purchase, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. We will respond to all requests and aim to be fair, but refunds outside the 30-day window are at our discretion.
Refunds for technical issues
If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing a paid edition — for example, broken download links, access errors, or content not loading — please email support@sylvanassurance.com first. We will attempt to resolve the issue. If it cannot be resolved within a reasonable time, a refund will be issued regardless of the 30-day window.
What is not refundable
- Charges from your bank, payment provider, or currency-exchange service
- Time you spent reviewing the materials
- Sales tax / Value-Added Tax remitted to a tax authority that does not refund the tax portion (Lemon Squeezy handles VAT/sales-tax refunds where the relevant authority permits)
Chargebacks
We prefer to handle refund requests directly. If you initiate a chargeback through your payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to refuse future purchases. For most refund situations, contacting us directly is faster and easier than a chargeback.
